Our Medical Fees

Medical Fees | Please call our clinic to book an appointment with one of our doctors. While we do try to avoid delays, however on some occasions this cannot be avoided when emergencies need to be attended or longer consultations hold the doctors up. Our experienced friendly receptionists will make every effort to accommodate your preferred GP and appointment time.

Long consultation times are available; please ask our receptionists if you require a longer appointment. Information on our medical fees are listed below.

Medical Fees

  • Medicare rebate

    • If you have fully paid your consultation fee on the same day, we can lodge your Medicare rebate online, which will be deposited directly into your bank account within 24 hours of your consultation.
      For this option your bank details needs to be registered with Medicare before we can lodge your Medicare claim for you at the reception desk.

      If you have not registered your bank details with Medicare, we can still send an online Medicare claim, however they will send you the rebate cheque to your registered address.

      For gap payment, Medicare will mail the rebate cheque to you, which then must be sent to Mandala Clinic.

  • Emergencies

    • If you feel you have an emergency, please let the receptionist know immediately. The situation will be assessed by one of our doctors. If it is felt that you require urgent hospital or medical treatment please ring 000 for an ambulance.

  • Cancellations

    • It would be much appreciated if you can contact us well in advance to cancel your appointment so we can offer your appointment to another patient that is in need of medical attention.

  • Fees

    • As we are a private billing practice, the doctors charge a fee, part of which is claimable from Medicare. Patients under the age of 16 are eligible for Bulk Billing.
